Dressing The Bump With BUMPstyle Box

Dear Readers,

When BUMPstyle Box reached out to collaborate on a style post, I jumped at the chance! (Let’s face it – my wardrobe options are pretty limited at this point.) BUMPstyle Box is a high-end maternity boutique that delivers the cutest pregnancy style straight to your door. After completing a style profile, your stylist chooses from a wide range of items to dress your bump from head-to-toe. And with brands like Seraphine, J.Brand Maternity, and Ingrid and Isabel in the mix, you can be sure you’ll stay on trend at every stage of your pregnancy. I only wish I had known about this service sooner – I’ve bought at least one new item every month to accommodate my changing body throughout my pregnancy, and it would have saved a lot of hassle in online returns and fitting room fails!

So what’s in my BUMPstyle Box?

Seraphine Dress ($88)

the style letters: Dressing The Bump With BUMPstyle Box(Seraphine Dress, Target Mossimo Clutch, Cosmopolitan Sandals (c/o JCPenney), Anthropologie Earrings)

Verdict: This dress fits perfectly and is so flattering! I love the rich berry color, too. If I had a few more months in my pregnancy, I would keep it, but since I’m hoping to transition out of maternity-style dresses after Baby Mac is born, this one has to go back.

Ripe Maternity Dress ($116)

the style letters: Dressing The Bump With BUMPstyle Box(Ripe Maternity Dress (c/o BUMPstyle Box), Erin Gallagher Necklace (c/o), Rebecca Minkoff Bag, Target Merona Wedges)

Verdict: This one is my favorite, not only for its versatility (perfect for a bump now/breastfeeding later), but also as a “regular” work dress this fall.  We have a keeper.

Jules and Jim Dress ($116)

the style letters: Dressing The Bump With BUMPstyle Box(Jules and Jim Dress, J.Crew Cardigan (similar), Prabal Gurung for Target Sandals, Kate Spade New York Earrings)

Verdict: The white piping and flutter sleeves on this navy dress are adorable, but the material is a bit clingy for my liking. It could be a cute dress post-baby, but I prefer the style of the wrap dress above.

Esley Dress ($88)

the style letters: Dressing The Bump With BUMPstyle Box(Esley Dress, J.Crew Jacket, Target Mossimo Sandals, Target Merona Clutch)

Verdict: So sweet – and spot on with the bohemian trend for summer. If I didn’t already have a similar dress from J.Crew in my closet, I would be hanging on to this one.
