In The Navy

Dear Readers

Navy is the new black and this season, it’s far from boring. The blue hue inspires spring’s nautical trend and pops up in the most unexpected places, from grand statement pieces to modern silhouettes. And with so many beautiful options out there, I’ll be wearing it from head to toe.

Not surprisingly, I found major navy inspiration at kate spade new york.
A classic shift dress gets an instant update with this striped day coat and sparkling bib necklace.
A sweet bow and surprise pop of red add a touch of whimsy to a wardrobe staple.
Style Now, Style Later: Navy makes an excellent neutral and always looks chic next to red, white, and gray. For a softer look, consider wearing navy with ballet pink, mint green, and sky blue. Wild card pairing? Navy with black or Pantone’s Color of the Year, Radiant Orchid.

    • Thank you so much! This is by far my favorite piece for spring. 🙂

  • Yeah, um, yeah…I just can’t. Why is that coat so far away from me?!

    • Hahahaha, I only could do it with a very generous discount and the approval of Mr. MacNamara. 😉 You may borrow it anytime!
